Lisa has been successfully owning and running businesses since 1992 when she began running the inside operations of her husband's building company. She is a Chartiers-Houston graduate, and holds a business administration degree from Washington & Jefferson College. Lisa grew up on a farm in Chartiers, where she actually moved back to and raised her two children. For the past 20 years, Lisa was not only running a successful business but also being a band parent, a Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout leader, Sunday school teacher, a bell choir director, and a rental property manager.
When you come in to Beechie's, you may see Lisa laughing with the customers, or even visiting with her two beautiful grandchildren. In 2010, Lisa and her husband were approached by the previous owner of Beechie's, giving the opportunity to save the restaurant from closing after running for over 50 years. They saw this as an opportunity to save a staple in the town she grew up in, and a new endeavor for her, her son, and her family.
On November 5th, 2010 Lisa entered Beechie's expecting to take over and run a business. What she actually did was create a new family, in a new home, and became a mom all over again.
